Rubric:

Prelims - A written questionnaire with Multiple Choice Questions covering most fields of Biotechnology.

Top 6 teams get qualified for the next stage.

 

Round 1 - Know it all??

Level 1 - Mark your place!

The teams are asked a question each for which they have to answer within the stipulated time, failing which the question would be passed on to the next team. 

Level 2 - Make a Diagnosis 

 The teams are each presented with a unique medicinal case, carrying information about symptoms, effects and pictures of a disease. The participants must diagnose it. 

 

Round 2 - Buzz your way through!!!

The teams are asked a total of 10 questions, for which the team who presses the buzzer first gets to answer. Questions will not be passed.

Top 4 teams at this stage qualify for the finals.

 

Round 3 (Finals) - Quick-on-the-trigger!

One member of each team is given 90 seconds to answer a set of questions that are posed to them. They can answer as many questions as they can within the stipulated time.

 

Rules: 

• Each team must consist of 2 members.

• There can be no dispute with the scoring done by the scorers.

• Decisions made by the Judges would be final.
